Email being re-invented, anti-ad networks, new economies. Some thought-provoking articles and ideas:

How David Beats Goliath: An essay by Malcolm Gladwell analyzing serial entrepreneur Vivek Ranadive‘s unique approach of bring real-time/continuous decision to everything, from finance to basketball.

Google Wave: This has been receiving a tremendous amount of buzz lately and I’m looking forward to checking out the API they are releasing. Based on what I can tell, it looks like bringing the FriendFeed interface to your browser.

Anti-Ad Networks??: The founders of Clicky (a web analytics app) are releasing a new kind of network for small to medium sized sites where they can easily provide premium content/services to users to choose to pay to be part of this network. Quite a unique idea but I’m curious to see how they solve the big chicken-egg-problem facing them.
